On June 12th 2010, Gloucester South Police and Quedgeley Parish Council held the 3rd Quedgeley Community Fun Day at Dimore II.

The event included free entry and once again the Gloucester South Police and St Johns Ambulance Brigade were on hand to ensure a safe, fun day was had by all.

Once again it was a fantastic event. The weather was beautiful and large numbers of people turned out to enjoy the fun.

A variety of attractions, exciting arena events and activities including a tug-of-war, face painting, live music, hotdogs, the SCT van, a funfair and lots more combined to make the day a huge success.

Planned Events for 2010 presented by Quedgeley Parish Council

Here are a list of dates for the Events:

Following the (resounding) success of the 2008 Firework Display held at Dimore II, the 2009 Firework Display is planned for 14th November.

For safety reasons only the main entrance to DIMORE II will be open until after the display. (We apologise for any inconvenience).

Note: Car Parking is available at SevernVale School (See here).

The 2nd annual Quedgeley Community Dog Show
was held at Dimore II on July 18th 2009.

This is the second year that the dog show was held in Quedgeley and it will be an annual event, so keep an eye out for the date next year.

Once again the dog show included an agility course and this year, the event included various stalls, a funfair, refreshments, hot dogs, music, children’s rides, pet micro-chipping and more! Judging the show was Dawn Bliss.
This years prizes were all donated by Jollys Pet Food Superstores and
all proceeds went to Teckles Animal Shelter
