It is proposed that these should be located in the main district towns, plus three additional towns in the most rural districts: Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Dursley, Tewkesbury, Cirencester, Coleford, Newent and Stow. These libraries will be open six days a week, providing an access point to wider public services.
Local Libraries
These will be local additions to Main Libraries and it is proposed that they will be located in: Lydney, Tetbury, Fairford, Chipping Campden, Winchcombe, Bishop’s Cleeve, Quedgley, Hucclecote, Longlevens, Up Hatherley, Charlton Kings and Cinderford. These libraries will be open across five days a week, including Saturdays
