The Quedgeley Community Centre

 

Quedgeley Parish Council is the proud owner of the Quedgeley Community Centre in School Lane. It provides a meeting place for the residents of the parish with an extensive range of activities from the very young to the not quite so young. Your Community Centre is one to be proud of and is the envy of other areas of the City. Attached to it is a licensed Social Club, why not join it and help to ensure its continuing success? There is also Equals, a youth centre that works for young people with various activities, why not ask your youngsters to give it a go!!

 

To enable the centre to be used by as many people as possible all rooms are on the ground floor with level access, there are toilet facilities for children and the disabled and there are hearing loops in both halls and the committee room. Every effort is made to ensure that the building is maintained to a high standard, it is regularly redecorated and is cleaned daily.

Do you have a children’s Birthday, special anniversary or christening coming up soon? At our Community Centre we have the two large halls, one of which will even accommodate a Bouncy Castle. It is your centre and therefore there is a special discounted rate for local residents. We believe that our rates are very competitive and users tell us that they are excellent value for money. Why not give us a try? Please remember the hire of the halls is very popular so don’t leave it too late, book now!!

Regular Activities at the Centre There are many organisations using the facilities throughout the year from toddlers to the more mature. Over recent years, no doubt due to the influence of TV, various types of dancing classes to suit all age groups are available and are proving to be extremely popular.
