My parents moved to our smallholding in Naas Lane in 1967 and I returned to live here in 1992 to help look after my father who, sadly, has since passed away and I now live here with my husband and sister.

Since returning to live in Quedgeley, I have become concerned about the developments that have taken place over the last few years and the amenities provided for local people.

I am no longer able to go out to work and so have more time to take an interest in the area in general and realising how much the Parish Council contribute to the area I decided it would be good to be a member of it and try to represent the forgotten end of Quedgeley, Naas Lane.
