I joined the Parish Council more than six years ago as I felt things needed to be done. So instead of sitting there moaning about it, I decided to do something positive and became a Parish Councillor. As Chair of the Recreation and Amenities Committee I work hard to improve the facilities in the parish and to make Quedgeley a place to be proud of.

I work for Sunrise Training, as the Centre Manager of the Pitman Training Centre in Gloucester. I also work for The Programme Centre where we have the contract from the JobCentrePlus, helping people to get back to work.
This is a 13 week programme which includes producing a CV, assisting the customers as to where to look for jobs and trying to point them in the right direction, plus any other issues they may have.

Having a cute dog, I set an example as a responsible dog owner and love taking him out for walks. This not only keeps me fit, but I can also see where dog bins or litter bins may be needed. I would really like to see a play area for dogs… and why not!
