Living in Kingsway has given me a real understanding about just how, without coordination, how residents can often be the last to be appreciated in developing communities. It was because of this that I wanted to join the Parish Council and work with like minded people to make a positive contribution to our community and ensure that our voices are heard and that the area develops in a way that best serves the community.

Within the Parish Council, I sit on the Planning Committee, and I also am one of the two Parish Council representatives of the Gloucester City Council Standards Committee.

I am a great believer in getting involved, and it is because of this that I became the founding Chair of the Kingsway Residents Association, which has helped the community develop and focus on the specific needs of the residents. I also sit as a Magistrate within Gloucestershire

In my professional life I am a Chartered Engineer and work in the domain of Human Factors in the defence industry.
