Together with my husband Phil, who is also a Parish Councillor, I live on the Kingsway estate. I am a civil servant working in Southgate House, Gloucester and I am also a part time law student with the College of Law training to be a solicitor.

I wanted to become a Parish Councillor because I felt that Kingsway needed representation within the Quedgeley Community and also with regard to other local councils. In addition I wanted to make a difference to my community; to make it safer and to have better facilities.

I feel that I have a lot to offer as I have lived in various parts of the country; from a rural life in Cumbria to city living in Sheffield which is where I was born and brought up. I believe that my working background and education will also be of benefit to the community as they encompass a wide variety of issues.
