I joined Quedgeley Parish Council in August 2010 and have been a resident in the area since 1999. My main aims as a Councillor are to work to preserve open spaces and community facilities within the parish and to assist with the campaign against the Incinerator proposed for the Javelin Park site. I am currently a member of the Community Centre, Waterwells Sports Centre and Finance & General Purposes Committees.

Professionally, I work as a Safety Officer with a local engineering company, having previously worked as a Training Officer at the same firm. Prior to that I was a Further Education Lecturer and a Sales Engineer. I am currently working toward my Chartered status in Health & Safety having recently finished my Graduate Diploma.

Outside of work I am also a Governor at Severn Vale School and a qualified rugby union referee involving both adult and junior games in the local area.
