I am a former nurse having retired from the care field in recent years and have lived in Quedgeley for more than 23 years, bringing up a family of four children.

During the time I have lived in this area I took the view that there were insufficient facilities for local residents. On my retirement I felt that I could try and make a difference by becoming a Parish Councillor as I had found that the Council was working hard on behalf of us all. I joined them in order to play my part in making things better for everyone in the area, including myself.
